The story of VGolf begins in Seoul, South Korea, in 2007, with the vision of Mr. Lee Jung Hee — a passionate golfer and early innovator in golf simulation technology. At a time when screen golf was still a novelty, Mr. Lee saw the potential to bring the essence of golf indoors, making the game more accessible, efficient, and enjoyable for a broader audience.

In 2009, Mr. Lee expanded this breakthrough concept to Indonesia, introducing one of the first screen golf setups in the country. Starting with installations in major cities, VGolf’s innovative approach to indoor golf began to capture the interest of golfers across Indonesia. Over time, more than 200 screen golf units were successfully installed in commercial centers, hotels, entertainment venues, and private spaces — making VGolf a quiet yet influential force behind the rise of simulator golf in Indonesia.

As the market evolved, VGolf shifted its focus from installation to building a curated premium indoor golf experience through its own flagship venues. Today, VGolf operates four official branches in Indonesia:

  • Great Western Resort (2016) — Our first fully managed location, bringing indoor golf to the heart of a residential and resort-style community.

  • Cilegon (2016) — Serving both casual players and industrial professionals in the city with limited access to golf courses.

  • Lotte Shopping Avenue, Jakarta (2017) — Our flagship branch in the capital, offering an urban golfing experience with high-end technology and stylish comfort.

  • Bekasi (2024) — The latest addition, expanding VGolf’s reach to serve growing demand in the eastern corridor of Greater Jakarta.
